Central Texas Flight Training can create a custom course for your needs. However, for those with a firm vision of their future as a commercial pilot, Central Texas Flight Training has designed the Professional Pilot Course. This is a complete, comprehensive training program. Whether your aviation goal is to fly for a major airline, regional, or corporation, our goal is to train you to be one of the best, and become an attractive applicant to a prospective employer.
 
 
 
 
Private Pilot
 
Private Pilot Course 
 
If you have a passion for aviation and want to fly an airplane where you are pilot-in-command, then becoming a private pilot is within your reach! To become a certificated private pilot, Central Texas Flight Training has individualized training courses designed to help you acquire all the skills necessary within the minimum amount of time, so you can finally fly for pleasure and carry passengers. Finish-up courses are also available if you have previous training or experience.

 
 
Aircraft used:
Piper Archer or Cessna 152 & 172 your choice of aircraft.
Prerequisites:
• At least 17 years of age
• Hold at least a Third Class Medical
Price Starts At:
$6,748 * – Includes knowledge test, 50 hours of flight time, and up to 50 hours of instructor time.
 
 
 Instrument
 

 
Instrument Rating Course 
 
The addition of an instrument rating will extend your Private Pilot privileges. Completion of this course allows you to operate an aircraft solely by reference to instruments. To acquire the prestigious Instrument Rating requires a disciplined pilot, a combination of specialized instructors, consistent scheduling, and the appropriate equipment. Central Texas Flight Training has excellent training techniques and the highest standards. Because of this, we have an excellent pass rate for IFR qualified pilots from our Instrument Rating Course.

Piper Archer or Cessna 152 & 172 your choice of aircraft.
Prerequisites:
• Private or commercial certificate
• Course may be given under FAR 61 but 50 hours cross country time is required by completion of course.
• Current medical

$8,735 * - Includes knowledge test, 45 hours flight time, and up to 65 hours of flight instructor time.
 
 
 
 
 Commercial
 
Commercial Pilot Prep Course 
 
Central Texas Flight Training offers a prep course to the pilot who is ready for the Commercial Pilot's Certificate and has at least 240 hours of flight time as pilot and have met all requirements of FAR -61.129 (a) or (b). You will receive 10 hours of intense training including practicing commercial maneuvers in a complex aircraft. The Commercial Pilot Certificate is much like your Private, except the Commercial Certificate is required for the pilot who wishes to be compensated for his or her flying. Many pilots upgrade to qualify for lower insurance premiums, or for additional flight proficiency.

Certified Flight Instructor Course

Acquiring the prestigious Certified Flight Instructor Certificate enables you to share the joy of flying as you instruct others who desire pilot certificates. The CFI course fundamentals focus on creating and presenting lesson plans to a student in a ground school atmosphere; this will thoroughly prepare you to flight instruct and continue earning desired flight hours.

• Hold a valid FAA Commercial Pilot certificate
• An Airplane Single engine land rating
• An Instrument Rating
